Artisan Masonry & Natural Finishes in Málaga
Lime and clay renders, Tadelakt and other mineral finishes applied by hand. Each material offers different possibilities in terms of texture, colour and finish, from simple, natural surfaces to more expressive and detailed finishes.
Traditional Masonry
I carry out traditional masonry work using rustic brick, stone, mortars and other materials, paying particular attention to proportions, junctions and small details.
I look for simple and durable solutions that fit the character of the space and the architecture of traditional Mediterranean buildings.
Lime Renders
I apply lime renders to interior and exterior walls, from simple natural finishes to more textured surfaces with greater character.
Lime allows different grain sizes, colours and finishes, which can be adapted to the type of surface and the appearance you are looking for.
Clay Renders
Clay finishes for interiors, available in different colours, grain sizes and textures. I can also work with decorative techniques such as sgraffito, reliefs and incised patterns to create surfaces with greater depth and expression.
Tadelakt & Lime Plasters
Hand-applied Tadelakt for bathrooms, showers, sinks and other surfaces. I also work with different mineral finishes and lime plasters, creating continuous surfaces with a natural character and the subtle variations that come from hand application.
Clay Combined with Brick
The combination of clay and brick can be used to create walls and decorative elements with relief, texture and different earth tones. It brings together the warmth of brick with the natural character of clay finishes.
Rustic Brickwork
I build small masonry features using rustic brick, such as partitions, brick counters, niches and other details.
I like to preserve the warm, irregular character of the brick and, where appropriate, combine it with lime, clay and other natural materials.
Traditional Stone Paving
I carry out small traditional paving and stonework projects using natural stone, with a focus on simple, rustic and Mediterranean finishes.
Roof Tiles
I replace damaged or deteriorated Arabic and interlocking roof tiles.
I can also consider small maintenance and repair work on roofs, depending on their condition and the characteristics of each roof.
Artisan Tiling & Zellige
I carry out tiling, replacement and small repair work, including handmade tiles and Zellige.
The natural variations in handmade tiles — in colour, shape and surface — can add a distinctive character to kitchens, bathrooms and other spaces.
Work in Málaga and the Costa del Sol
I carry out artisan masonry and natural finish work in Málaga and different areas of the Costa del Sol.
I travel for Tadelakt, lime and clay renders, rustic brickwork, stonework, traditional paving and other artisan finishes.
For special Tadelakt and mineral finish projects, I can also consider travelling to other areas of Andalucía and Spain.
Natural Materials, Handcrafted Work
There is something I particularly appreciate about lime, clay, stone and brick: they do not aim for completely uniform perfection.
I work with their variations, textures and small imperfections to create surfaces with presence and character that can age naturally.
Each material has its own setting, drying and finishing times. For this reason, I prefer to work without rushing and adapt the process to the conditions of each project.
